This page is dedicated to resources that have changed my life for the better. I hope they can help you, too.
“Prosperity Consciousness” by Frederic Lehrman.
A complete CD/Audio program that blew away my bad money beliefs, in terms of not only changing how I think about money, but even down the the nuts and bolts of how to setup your accounts and manage your money flow, to generate financial independence. When it comes to wealth and prosperity, this audio set is a game changer for those struggle with their money and wealth mindset.
“The Confidence Gap: A Guide to Overcoming Fear & Self-Doubt” by Russ Harris.
My absolute favorite book on confidence, ever to have existed. Dr. Harris is a brilliant Acceptance & Commitment therapist and writer, and the mindfulness-based approach to confidence present by Harris is the most powerful one I’ve seen. This book greatly impacted my self-image and confidence, and in a way I never expected, because it has very little to do with building confidence itself and the means to an end.
“The Firestarter Sessions: A Soulful + Practical Guide to Creating Success on Your Own Terms“ by Danielle Laporte.
If you are seeking passion and purpose, but lacking in that department of life, then this book is an inspiring end-to-end guide to fuel you up, and start your passion fire. Though I’d already found my passion/purpose when I came upon this gem-of-book, it’s been a great support on keeping me on the path of passion.
Taking the Leap: Freeing Ourselves from Old Habit & Fears by Pema Chodron.
Another fear-dissolving book that’s a classic in my eyes. When I was struggling after my mother’s death this powerful little book help soothe me through the times, and face my own fears on mortality and living.
“The Enlightenment Process” by Judith Blackstone
This is not some woo-woo book on enlightenment or one that proclaims that you need to go meditate in a monastery for five years. It’s very concise, clear and practical about how developing one’s “enlightenment” or consciousness on higher levels is a developmental process. Blackstone gives very simple yet powerful exercises to guide you through new experiences of consciousness.
The Mindful Way Through Depression by John Kabat-Zinn and crew.
According to research statistics, everyone will struggle with some form of depression in their lives. Though my main struggle has been with anxiety, I find that depression and anxiety go hand in hand often times, though one may seem to dominate over the other. The beauty of the mindfulness-based approach is that it works for both depression and anxiety. This calmly-written, yet highly instructive book will teach you all you need to know about mindfulness and narrows in on depression specifically.
Neuroprogrammer (Brain Entrainment Software) by Transparent Corp.
Yes it’s true; I am an uber-geek when it comes to personal development. Brainwave Entrainment is amazing as a technology to help you relax and de-stress, or to enhance your meditation practice, if you have one. Entrainment is an audio technology where you sit back as the audio track induces relaxed brainwave states. It’s amazing stuff, and I highly recommend it as well as Transparent Corp making some of the highest quality brain entrainment software out there. Even though I own Mind Workstation (the more expensive/upgraded version of the software), I recommend you start with Neuroprogrammer, as that might be all you need at the fully-featured yet lower-cost option that it is, unless you want to geek out like me with Mind Workstation.
