I tried and tried using the law of attraction for many years thinking “this has to be total BS!”
Because I would wish, will or want something into my reality and I didn’t see much evidence of it happening.
I watched “The Secret” over and over, and while there’s some good stuff in there, it’s wholly incomplete to get this stuff to work, as I later found out.
But then I kept thinking of all the people that said it works for them, and not just “the gurus”, but personal friends of mine, as well.
So again I had to ask:
“How does the law of attraction REALLY work…and how can I get it to WORK FOR ME?!?”
I knew there had to be a way, and reasons that I was struggling so much with it.
And there were, many many reasons. Most of those reasons are based on my own fear, doubts and ego.
It was certainly a struggle but much of it came down to facing my own personal demons and “getting all the way in” with facing up my fears, and my sensitive little, but strong ego.
If you’re in the small percentage of people that don’t have many ego problems or fears, then this process will probably work for you very easily.
So how did I finally crack the code on this?
Here’s how I’ve found the law of attraction works, through repeated trial and error. Here are what I believe five fundamental elements needed to make the law of attraction/manifestation work in a consistent and repeatable fashion:
1) SCIENTIFIC BASIS
I had a very, very hard time making the law of attraction (aka “manifestation” or “deliberate creation”) work for me without having a rational, scientific understanding of it. And actually what solidified it was a blend of quantum physics and spirituality and experiments that are in that field of study.
Something scientific needs to be done with objective mindset, and experiments that are done need to be reproduced and repeatable.
The most important thing that always bothered my logical mind in hearing people talk about the laws of attraction was this: “believe it and it WILL happen.”
That’s just not so. I’m very, very glad that I never just bought into it, because it has allowed a skeptic like me to learn it, and to teach others having issues with it.
Here’s the real-deal, scientific basis for the law of attraction (actually I like to call it “reality creation”):
Believing that something will happen, DOES NOT GUARANTEE IT WILL HAPPEN. Period. That’s the bad news, and maybe you already knew that, and probably have experienced this.
However, believing/wishing/wanting for something to manifest into your reality DOES MAKE IT MUCH MORE PROBABLE IT WILL HAPPEN! Yes – the good news!
Yes – thought alone can make something much more probable to occur in reality, and scientific experiments as mentioned in this video by Thomas Campbell, show that around 80% of the time, using though influences reality directly.
So these statistics are available and that’s great.
However, you still must prove it to yourself that it works, which is as or more important.
The stats are just for tracing back if you start to doubt that it works.
I have to do this all the time, even though I know via my experience it works.
YOU MUST EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF IN A REPEATABLE FASHION, TOO, FOR IT TO BE SCIENTIFIC.
This is very important to remember, we live in a shared reality, where many consciousnesses are wanting things to happen. This means that we truly can’t control reality, but we can influence it.
This is the real “secret behind The Secret”, a fine point that just gets glossed over, and it’s too bad it gets overlooked like this.
2) A STATE OF LOVE/ORDER
Visualizing and creating the feeling of the situation you want works very well, and actually can be done very quickly and on the spot.
But this takes practice at home first.
So what do I mean by “a state of love/order”?This is something that Thomas Campbell talks about in My Big TOE.
Getting to this state can be done with meditation, and even easier with a healing meditation like Quantum Entrainment.
This is the perfect setup for your visualization. Actually, it’s an even better place to live from, rather than just doing it only when you want to try to manifest something. It is very, very important
This is the most touted step, and honestly is the easiest.
You visualize, feel the end result as if it has already occurred.
Don’t try to visualize all the steps in between, you’ll just trip yourself up too much in the “how” of getting there (ego-based).
When this is all done correctly you’ll know, because the steps or “markers” will start showing up everywhere in your world.
Simply imagine how you would be and what the situation you want to create, what it would look like, feel like, etc. (i.e. a new relationship, more financial abundance, health recovery.)
It’s fine to imagine all the details of the end result, although it’s not necessary to get everything in there.
My friend also calls this “energetic profiling” – a term I like very much, and I think is very appropriate, due to the nature of reality being much more energy based and shiftable, not hard/static like our minds typically think about it.
What’s more important is that while doing this, you are asking from a space of love/order, so that it’s not just to your benefit, but to the benefit of all.
A good way to think of it is from a space of “non-harming”.
The reason I stress this is because you can come from a greedy place when asking, and you may get what you want, but it will come along with all kinds of difficulties, or you may really struggle getting it at all.
4) LETTING GO
It’s important to let go of it, once your session is done. The work of calling forth your new manifestation is done.
If you’ve done this, things will start to show up VERY, VERY QUICKLY into your reality. So fast that you may not be able to handle it, because of the blocks you have.
Which brings me to the next step, which I believe to be the hardest of all, and probably the most important.
5) EGO/FEAR WORK
This is a big part of the movie The Secret that is lacking.
It is mentioned briefly in the movie by teachers like Michael Beckwith, in terms of what you want consciously and UNCONSCIOUSLY will manifest into your reality.
It is the unconscious…places where we are run by fear and on automatic that trip us up the most.
Yes, practice being in a state of love/order helps with this, but we also must dive into our fears, and “get all up in ‘em” – get intimate with them know them like a friend, not an enemy.
Trying to fight your fears, might work sometimes in the short term, but it is more likely that fighting/resisting will keep your fears and ego in place.
Fear/ego work isn’t something that can be done in one session, or even just a few. Depending on how afraid or caught up in your ego you are, it may take years.
But the more willing you are to dive in deep, become intimate with your greatest fears, the easier your life will become, and the easier manifesting what you want will be.
Now I don’t want you to get frustrated if you’re having problems or thinking “great now I have all this work to do.
” It’s very possible you do, this post isn’t an airy fairy “wish it and you’ll have the life or your dreams.”
Anyone telling you that is full of it, and are just trying to make a quick buck from you with a law of attraction product, and could care less about teaching you how it works.
It doesn’t mean you have do smash all of your fears at once, no my friend.
You can start manifesting very quickly, but the more ego work you do, the easier and smoother things will go in your reality, no matter what the challenge that comes up.
It is my hope you’ll dig deeper and deeper, and do the work to figure it out for yourself.
And yes, IT WILL GET EASIER, BUT WORK IS REQUIRED to fully integrate the skill set of deliberate reality creation into your life.
